Important Notice Requirements: To obtain a tourist visa you must book and pay for your accommodation through a licensed travel agency (that specialises in this area) in Australia. A visa lists entry/exit dates, your passport number, visa type etc. It is an exit permit as well and if you lose it or overstay your visa allowance leaving the country may be harder than getting in. A tourist visa is issued for every confirmed night you stay in the country. It is not possible to extend your tourist visa. Russian tourist visa regulations state that a voucher (for fully prebooked and prepaid services must be provided for all accommodation (hotels) provided. This must be done in Australia prior to obtaining a visa. Please note apartment rentals are not permitted on a tourist visa.
