I have been ordering tickets and other travel arrangements through Gateway Travel Pty. It is with great pleasure that Gateway travel will be my preferred travel agent for as long as I hold a passport even if I decide to live overseas. When I first decided that I would travel to Ukraine I found it almost impossible to extract quality information from many travel agents about travel to both Russia and Ukraine. The more enquiries I made with other travel agents the more dissatisfied I became frustrated and almost I didn`t travel to Russia. It seems that travel agents have put Russia in the too hard basket Finally someone suggested to contact Gateway travel whom I found to be quite knowledgeable in all travel to Russia ( I must say this was back in 1985) I haven`t travelled with anyone else since. Even when I had to travel urgently to Africa Gateway (without hesitation) was there to help me all the way. I can only recommend Gateway Travel

I had first known of Gateway Travel through their website on the internet. My friend and I were going to Moscow, so we contacted their agency as well as a few local travel agencies. Well what happened after that was a very pleasing surprise. We received a response right away from Gateway, had all the prices ready, and within days our visa and tickets were ready. The staff are great, mostly all Russian, so that they are well known on the red tape involved with visits to Russia. Our company will be using them now and recommending them to whoever we can.
Oh yes, the local companies finally got back to us after a few weeks and apologised because they could not cater for what we were after. One company didn`t even reply at all.

The further I travelled through Korea to Germany, onward to Russia and
confirmation of visa, into Kyrgyzstan (and confirmation of visa again) and
back to Moscow then from the middle of Siberia (Krasnoyarsk) to

Over the last week or so Melissa has been assisting me with accommodation and visas for manager's forthcoming trip to Russia.
Over this period I've found Melissa to be very helpful, attentive, informative and timely. Every time Melissa promised to either contact me or respond within a certain time frame she always delivered on time. I also found that she was resourceful and suggested alternatives when initial plans wouldn't work out.

I wanted to go to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Anadyr, in Far East Russia. Not many people have heard of these small cities, and most travel agencies will not touch them! Russian Gateway knew how to arrange travel to these out-of-the-way, but heart-wrenching locations. They stuck by me while I waited months for documentation to come through from various other agencies. When my plans had to suddenly change a week before the planned departure, they processed my urgent request for new flights and accommodation. Through Russian Gateway, I was able to travel to a beautiful, obscure part of the world.

In August I decided I wanted a holiday to Russia and the Ukraine. I check the internet and found the Gateway Travels website. I rang and started planning the trip. I had some exacting requirements that I needed with regard to travel, timings and accommodation. Gateways staff offered different ideas and in a short time a very good itinerary was put together!! Gateway Travel assisted with visas and their contacts in Russia made the process easy. As things would happen just 8 days before my departure I had to make some radical changes to my travel and the Gateway staff made the changes and confirmed all new details overnight!!
To me the service was professional and friendly!! I will return to Russia again and I will now only use Gateway!! You should consider using them!! I recommend their service and staff!!
