Shchyolkovo

Shchyolkovo (In Russian: Щёлково) is a city in Moscow Oblast, located on the Lyyazma Rive (Oka`s tributary), some 35 km northeast of Moscow. The settlement dates back to the 16th century. Town status granted in 1925. It is reachable by suburban trains from the Yaroslavsky Rail Terminal of Moscow.
Shchyolkovo is centre of Shchyolkovsky Municipal District.
