Russian Business Visa Support (Invitation)

 

A business invitation can only be ordered 45 days prior to the business traveller's  intended entry into Russia for paper invitations (16 days); paper invitations in 7 working days, 30 days prior and paper invitations in 5 working days, 15 days prior to indicated entry date.  
To obtain a paper Multiple Entry invitation, they require proof that the person has travelled to Russia before, i.e. copy of previous visa.   If this is a first time traveller, processing of a paper Multiple Entry invitation is impossible. They could only offer a double entry for 3 months. They would not require a copy of the previous visa for this.

A foreign citizen must register with the local migration authorities within 72 hours upon arrival. If you arrive on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, your visa must be registered on the first working day after your arrival.
 
The registration must be completed by the receiving entity. Please note that the receiving entity is not necessarily the same as the inviting organisation or hotel entered in the person's invitation and visa but a company, hotel or person a foreigner is actually visiting in Russia.
 
If you do stay at a hotel, the registration is fully taken care of by the hotel reception.
 
If you stay at a private apartment, your visa is to be registered by your landlord. Please have the landlord apply at the local police precinct (in Moscow) or FMS office (commonly known as OVIR) in other cities. He will just need to fill out a registration form indicating your passport and migration card details. Your landlord will have to present his passport registered at the same apartment.
 
The form can also be sent to the migration authorities from the local post office which is easier than staying in queues at the police station. Again, the landlord only needs to fill out a registration form indicating your passport and migration card details and present his passport registered at the same apartment.
 
Handling fee $150 per person per invitation (visa support) and this is non refundable
 

Business Visas can only be issued if a proper Business visa support is issed through your Russian travel agent which is accredited with the Russian Interior Ministry 

We can assist as we work only with accredited agents. 

The Russian consulate does not accept faxed copies of double and mulitple visa support.  They need the originals.

Double or Multiple invitations need to be mailed, client will have to pay DHL Courier fee of approximately $200 plus handling fee of $750.00. Otherwise, they pay the higher invitation cost and the invitations are telexed to the Consulate.  We do not get a copy of this invitation.

A business invitation is for genuine business travellers travelling to Russia on actual business.

A proper letter is also required to be lodged with your documents.  This letter is only provided if all arrangement have been done though us.

The cost of the letter is only $150 per person per letter and is non refundable. 

Our Gateway Travel booking form must also be completed in full and returned to us together with full payment before anything can proceed. We cannot provide this letter if done through another agency.

HIV/AIDS:

HIV/AIDS testing is required for foreigners staying in the Russian Federation longer than three months. By definition, this does not affect those on tourist visas, which are only issued for shorter stays. It is important to carry the certificate with you. To obtain a HIV/ free certificate, consult with your doctor.

The Russian Embassy and Russian Consulate will not issue a business visa without the copy of a current  HIV free certificate.
