Golden Eagle & Siberian Tiger Trans Siberian Express Trains: The longest and the most famous railway journey in the world, the Trans-Siberian Railway traverses the whole expanse of Russia from Europe to the Orient. Four Cabin types are offered on these trains: 1) Gold Class, 2) Silver Class, 3) Heritage Class and 4) New Heritage Class. Gold Class cabins are among the best in rail travel today. They feature modern amenities including power showers and under floor heating. Cabins are excellently appointed with DVD/CD player. LCD screens and individual air conditioning. Silver Class cabins are smaller than Gold Class but still have modern en-suite facilities with smaller shower area. Heritage Class cabins are Traditional Russian Railway International First Class cabins with Trans-Siberian enhancements. Cabins feature 2 side-by-side beds, luggage storage and are centrally air-conditioned. Toilet facilities are located at each end of the carriage and there is a purpose built shower car for the use of Heritage Class guests. New Heritage Class cabins feature upper and lower berths, a wash basin, luggage storage and are centrally air-conditioned. Shangri-la Express: GW Travel's departures aboard this private hotel-on-wheels showcases the many splendours that make up this historically cultural gem.
